Coleman is from Lancashire. Coleman was head of the class of Arnold School, Blackpool and had straight A's at her A-levels. If Coleman was asked about her Emmerdale character she stated she regretted not to have had a traditional university experience. Coleman joined a theater company, In Yer Space while during her time at university. The company performed in the Edinburgh Festival for the play Crystal Clear. It was the British Soap Awards 2009 nominated Coleman in categories: Best Actress - Sexiest Feminine and the category for Best Dramatic Performance. Coleman has been nominated as Best Actress by the TV Choice Awards. On the 21st March, 2012 Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat confirmed at a press conference that Coleman would play the Doctor's companion alongside Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat chose her for the role due to her ability to work most effectively with Smith and was able to talk more quickly than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She's been active in the field for more than 30 years and is involved in a variety of TV and film projects. But, she's more popular for her television projects rather instead of films. Eva's appearances in the TV show The Dr. Maria Santos, in All My Children, and the role of Detective Natalia Boa Vista in CSI Miami stand out. The former even earned her two nominations for the Daytime Emmy Awards and gave her a chance to experiment with her talents in music. In addition to being an actor, Eva is also a philanthropist as well as an businesswoman. She has been married three times, and has one daughter and a second husband.
